At Croydon Vets our professional team of vets and nurses care passionately about animals and treat every patient as a sentient being. Every member of our team is hand selected for their compassion and ability to go above and beyond for our clients. They have the skills to provide a timely diagnosis and first-class veterinary treatment.
Melania has been practising in London since 2016 and is an integral part of our award winning London Vets Team!
Mel qualified in Italy in 2012 and decided upon pursing a role treating pets in London to enhance her excellent knowledge of both surgery and medicine. Mel is currently furthering her surgical skill by undertaking an advanced certificate in small animal surgery which means she’s spending a lot of time in our busy operating theatre! Still greatly enjoying the interaction with pets and their owners, Mel takes pride in managing complex cases and building excellent relationships with all our clients.
An immensely proficient small animal practitioner, Mel is confident in all routine soft tissue surgery, radiology and ultrasound.
Away from the surgeries and when she’s not studying for her further certificate qualification, Mel enjoys running a journal club where vets can discuss ideas and challenging cases!
Melania usually works on Monday and Thursday. Book your appointment to see wonderful Melania!
Qualifying from Pretoria in 2013 Jenny absolutely loves working in London and has been practising in the big city since 2016. Still keen to see other wonderful parts of the UK, Jenny has also lent her experienced hands to clinics in Scotland and East Sussex.
Whilst enjoying practising as a General Practitioner, Jenny particularly enjoys anaesthesiology, radiology, soft tissue surgery and also being part of more adventurous and complex cases.
Outside of the surgeries Jenny enjoys reading, being in the great outdoors and photography.
Customer Care Team
Amy has been working as a receptionist/nurse assistant in the veterinary industry since September 2015. Amy hope to continue developing her skills in the veterinary world and one day qualify as a vet nurse.
Amy has two dogs at home a black German Sheppard called Blade and a miniature Yorkshire terrier called Lilly.
In her spare time she enjoys taking her two lovely dogs on long walks with her husband.
Jemma is a huge animal lover with a wide range of experience in customer service. Before working for DNA, she ran her own dog walking company and is in her element around dogs of all shapes and sizes! As Jemma doesn’t currently have pets at home, she is always happy to give the patients plenty of love and affection, they are always guaranteed a warm welcome in the surgery!
We were delighted to welcome Jen to the team in October 2018. Jen joins us with a background of veterinary and management experience, previously responsible for the smooth running of two London surgeries. Before entering the veterinary world, Jen was an integral part of the management team for two wildlife parks in Kent working for their overseas charity projects as well as the parks. Having previously worked in hospitality for several years, Jen has plenty of customer service experience and is passionate about delivering a stellar experience for pets and owners alike! Jen is a massive animal lover and enjoys taking excellent care of her eleven year old Labrador Murphy – he may be a little spoilt!
